Fun fact: I think of Kaeda as Moana + Dr. House: A girl who loves her island, a girl who loves the sea, and a girl who just can't rest until she has a diagnosis!

Likes: Warm sun. Soft sand. Fish. Swimming. The ocean. Kaeda. 

Dislikes: Chilly weather. Unnecessary violence. When people talk a lot.

Fun fact: I started writing Reef after I finished playing Mass Effect. Are the Khirians Krogan/Turian inspired? If so, it's accidental!

Author's note: Readers often tell me that Archavie is clearly my favorite character. Is he? Well... I am hoping to give him his own POV in the sequel!

Fun fact: Some readers say I must really not like cats because Gamalielle is so annoying... but I actually like Gamalielle!

Fun fact: I loved Nadia's character so much I created a character based on her for our party's D&D campaign and played her for eight years.

Dislikes: Molvan rulers. Yury Rozhkov. Anything that keeps him from working magic. 

Fun fact: I also played a D&D character based on Tsakhia for years. Sadly in the D&D universe Nadia was a paladin and Tsakhia was devoutly godless and they just couldn't make their relationship work. RIP that ship.

Dislikes: Tsakhia. Anything that gets in Nadia's way. 

Fun fact: Yury and Nadia were originally werewolf siblings. I can't remember when and why I changed them to werebears instead, but I'm so glad I did.
